  1. CFB Kingston has a Class B Temporary for a MCpl/MCpl MOS ID/Occupation 00003-01-NCM to commence on 05-DEC-2024 until 31-OCT-2027.Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Regular Force, Supplementary Reserve Force.

  4. Basic description of duties: 1. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical hardware and/or software issues. 2. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve network issues on a LAN. 3. Install new network equipment. (Switches, routers) 4. Provide quick support to lodger units for network outages. 5. Complete inventory as required. 6. Assist section with LCMM. 7. Create and maintain section Standard Operating Procedures. 8. Escalate IT issues to the next level of support as required. 9. Follow-Up with clients and unit representatives. 10. Log all IT incidents and service requests in ticketing software. 11. Work closely with Team Leader and IS Maint I

  9. Remarks: Cover letter, resume and current Guardian MPRR and are to be attached with the nomination in Monitor Mass. Suitable applicants residing within the geographical area will be given preference. Applicant's medical category, physical fitness and security clearance must be current and at the required level for REO. If an applicant has MELs and is still employable within limitations, a copy of the AR/MEL must be fwd to CTC HQ G1 Reserve Admin Cell. Applicants must have the essential quals as outlined in REO. Applicants with a Secret clearance in progress as of the closing date of the REO may be considered, if no suitable applicant with the appropriate clearance applies. SCPS screen verification of security clearance is to be attached. Once an applicant has been selected, the home unit must complete C of C concurrence in Monitor Mass. Applicants who had a valid (within MOSID) but not current Medical category may be considered for employment. It remains the member's responsibility to ensure that their respective periodic health assessment is updated as soon as CF H Svcs can accommodate.
