  1. 16 Wing HQ has a Class A for a WO/WO MOS ID/Occupation 90015-AIR GEN to commence on 30-OCT-2024 until 30-OCT-2035.Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Regular Force, Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Cadet Org and Trg Service, Canadian Rangers.

      Sgt eligible for immediate promotion to WO will be considered, Sgt not eligible for promotion may also be considered and MWO's willing to permanently relinquish their rank to WO will be considered if no other suitable applicants apply.

    A. Experience with the CFTPO database to include sourcing positions, filling positions and creating CFTPO bricks.
    B. Experience coordinating returns of subordinate organizations, liaising with higher organizations;
    C. Manage the training schedules and overall calendar for 16 Wing;
    D. Experience presenting briefings/lectures to groups of 20-plus people
  4. Basic description of duties: Under the direction of the A3:
    A. Supervise/oversee the A3 Tasking cell;
    B. Manage, track and complete all CFTPO requirements for 16 Wing;
    C. Man the 16 Wing Ops cell providing coordination support to the 16 Wing units;
    D. Manage the training schedules and overall calendar for 16 Wing; and
    E. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Under the direction of the Wing Flight Safety Officer: A. Act as a liaison between 16 Wing units and higher HQ Flight Safety organizations; B. Coordinate with various Base, Wing and outside agencies as required; C. Provide FS-related training and briefings to students and staff; D. Ensure Safety Boards, webpages and other means of communication are updated to reflect policy changes; E. Assist in the processing of flight safety reports and other reporting within the FS program;
    F. Perform the duties of the WFSO in their absence.
