  1. RCEMES has a Class B Permanent for a MWO/MWO MOS ID/Occupation 90000-ATR to commence on 02-DEC-2024 until 01-DEC-2027.Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.

      WO/PO 1 eligible for promotion to MWO/CPO 2 may apply, but will only be onsidered should no candidate at the MWO/CPO 2 rank apply and be found suitable. WO/PO 1 not eligible for promotion may be considered for under-ranking. CWO/CPO1 are not eligible to apply.

  3. Secondary requirements of position, as applic: *Applicants who do not meet the language requirements of the position may be considered. However, priority will be given to those applicants who meet the language requirements of the position. Preferred Qualification: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint. Instructor Standardization Level 1. Prior experience in a training establishment would be an asset.
  4. Basic description of duties: -Primary duties of Stds 2IC are the command and control of the standards cell, Standards Representative for RQ LEET courses, and RCEMES lead for Instructor Standardization Training. - Be familiar with and adhere to RCEMES SOPs, Conduct of Training Manual (CTM), CFITES and other relevant document that affect the methods by which RCEMES conducts its business processes. - Ensure that all training documentation is available in both official languages. -With the Standards Officer, supervise Standards personnel in the conduct of their duties including the maintenance and administering of PCs, monitoring of courses, management of course feedback, and processing of waivers. Ensure to follow-up on outstanding matters and BPT advise CI, Coy and RCEMES leadership on complex matters. -Execute the duties of Standards Representative for RQ LEET courses, including the maintenance and administering of PCs, monitoring of courses, management of course feedback, processing of waivers, and participation in Progress Review Boards as required. -Work with the Training Development Officer and unit leadership to ensure the provision of high quality and relevant Instructor Standardization Training. BPT contribute to the larger RCEMES Instructor Professional Development Program. - Formulate and communicate meaningful solutions to challenges by presenting well-reasoned proposals complete with achievable action plans. - Provide clear concise information regarding training monitoring and personnel issues. - All actions must reflect the CAF Code of Ethics. - Provide an environment that promotes team work - Use a variety of leadership styles to accomplish team goals. - Maintain discipline, morale, esprit-de-corps of the section. - Actively support and participate in Coy, School and Corps activities. Secondary Duties: - BPT backfill HQ Sergeant Major as the Snr NCM within HQ Coy. - Additional and secondary duties directed by the Chief Instructor, HQ Sergeant Major, and Standards Officer.

Applicant's medical category, physical fitness and security clearance must be current and at the required level for REO. If an applicant has MELs and is still employable within limitations, a copy of the AR/MEL must be fwd to CTC HQ G1 Reserve Admin Cell. Applicants must have the essential quals as outlined in REO. Applicants with a Secret clearance in progress as of the closing date of the REO may be considered, if no suitable applicant with the appropriate clearance applies. Once an applicant has been selected, the home unit must complete C of C concurrence in Monitor Mass.
