  1. 5 Cdn Div TC has a Class B Permanent for a Sgt/Sgt MOS ID/Occupation 00010-01-INFTR to commence on 09-OCT-2024 until 08-OCT-2027.Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.
  2. Essential requirements are as fols:
    1. Rank: Sgt/Sgt
      IAW ref A, applicants who are one rank lower or one rank higher may apply, however will only be considered in those exceptional circumstances where no other qualified candidate is available. If one rank higher is the only suitable applicant, mbr may be required to relinquish their rank for the period of employment.
    2. MOS ID: 00010-01-INFTR
      Inftr preferred, if no suitable Inftr applies other trades may be considered.
    3. Language: Bilingual
    4. Security clearance: Secret
    5. Health: BE MED/DENT FIT
    6. Physical fitness: MUST BE PHYSICALLY FIT

      1. DP3 Inftr qual to be ISCC or RSCC;

      3. Be qualified to be promoted to the rank of Sgt.

  3. Secondary requirements of position, as applic:
    A. Experience instructing Army DP1 and DP2 courses;
    B. Experience instructing leadership courses;
    C. Experience conducting inspections;
    D. Familiar with Army Individual Training Information system (AITIS);
    E. Experience with MS Office; and
    F. Applicants who do not meet the language requirements of the position may be considered. However, priority will be given to those applicants who meet the language requirements.
  4. Basic description of duties:
    A. Perform Sect Comd duties;
    B. Supervise Sect 2IC;
    C. Perform the duties of Pl 2IC, in their absence;
    D. Instruct variety of subjects, including small arms, drill and fd craft;
    E. Train, administer, coach and develop students;
    F. Participate in PRBs, as required;
    G. Prepare written assessments and course reports;
    H. Supervise physical fitness program; I. May be tasked as demo staff in support of training/crse; and J. Unit secondary duties, as assigned.
