    A. Must possess knowledge of unit financial planning;
    B. Strong interpersonal, leadership, management, planning and organizational skills;
    C. Demonstrate ability to develop and maintain excellent rapport and working relationships with all agencies;
    D. Excellent written and verbal communication skills (must be proficient with Military Writing procedures);
    E. Excellent computer skills, primarily using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access);
    F. Must have knowledge of the FAM, FAA and other financial policies and procedures in relation to both Public and Non-Public Funds;
    G. Must have knowledge of CFTDTI and Treasury Board policies;
    H. Must have working knowledge of Claims X; I. Must have experience with Delegation of Authority; J. Must have working knowledge of and experience with Monitor Mass; K. Experience with RPSR, HRMS and Guardian; L. Acquisiton Card and TAN reconciliation; and M. NPF Knowledge.
  4. Basic description of duties:
    A. Assist staff in reviewing and clarifying Fin Policy, Regulations and Procedures;
    B. Ensure staff is aware of any changes to Fin Policy and Planning;
    C. Review all event/hospitality requests to be submitted to higher authority;
    D. Review and maintain Provision of Service reports and returns;
    E. Ensure all reports are submitted to HQ as per reporting schedule;
    F. Monitor and advise on DOA for unit and complete the annual verification of Fin Signing Auth;
    G. Track all charges in DRMIS and correct errors;
    H. Prepare and finalize claims using Claims X; I. Prepare briefing notes and make presentations for CO on fin issues as they apply to the unit; J. Supervise and administer pers as required in completion of assigned tasks; K. Monitor, mentor, evaluate and assess subordinates on a quarterly and annual basis; and L. Other duties as assigned.
