  3. Secondary requirements of position, as applic: Preferred Qualification: GUN / OP / STA / AD TSM qualified / Reserve Gun Area TSM considered an asset *Applicants who do not meet the language requirements of the position may be considered.   4. Basic description of duties: 1. Program course IAW TP and direction from course officer. To include producing DTSF, FSR, TSR, etc. 2. Provide garrison / field administrative support to the DP1 cell during the delivery of courses. 3. Provide clear direction to students and be prepared to deliver instruction as required. 4. BPT assume duties of the Course Officer in their absence. 5. Plan and execute C7, C9, C6 and Grenade ranges in accordance with the DP1 Training Plan 6. Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of student files. 7. Possess a valid DND 404 Driver's license. 8. Have a good working knowledge of: Monitor Mass, MS Word, MS Powerpoint, MS Excel. 9. Maintain a high standard of physical fitness and ensure your subordinates do the same by helping to plan and conduct PT sessions. 10. Conduct periodic safety inspections and report accidents in a timely manner. 11. Read and understand CAF policies, orders and publications. Specifically, read Trusted to Serve. Be committed to the growth and changes being made to improve the CAF culture, rebuild trust, and expand the existing sense of ethos and Canadian values in the military. 12. Direct the work of your subordinates, set and enforce the standard for the completion of the assigned tasks. 13. Maintain discipline, know your subordinates, promote their welfare and provide the required resources. 14. Provide feedback to subordinates and ensure they maintain competency while in garrison or in the field. 15. Provide opportunities for improvement, encourage, guide, and critique subordinates on an ongoing basis. 16. Maintain a high level of knowledge on Artillery Technical, Tactical and Personal procedures. 17. Accept change and responsibilities, be positive in communicating changes to your subordinates. Participate enthusiastically in the change process and implement change initiatives. 18. Ensure the economic and efficient use of resources. 19. Respect the responsibilities of your peers and contribute to the unit performance by supporting the RCAS goals. 20. Plan and manage your work daily IOT meet critical deadlines and complete tasks. Select appropriate courses of action, take calculated risks and take timely action with little to no supervision. 23.Conduct yourself in an appropriate manner on and off duty. Be confident when speaking in different settings or in front of different audiences. Secondary Duties: All WOs in the RCAS may routinely be tasked to fulfill the duties of the Base Duty Officer.

  9. Remarks: Cover letter, resume and current Guardian MPRR and are to be attached with the nomination in Monitor Mass. Applicant's medical category, physical fitness and security clearance must be current and at the required level for REO. If an applicant has MELs and is still employable within limitations, a copy of the AR/MEL must be fwd to CTC HQ G1 Reserve Admin Cell. Applicants must have the essential quals as outlined in REO. Applicants with a Secret clearance in progress as of the closing date of the REO may be considered, if no suitable applicant with the appropriate clearance applies. SCPS screen verification of security clearance is to be attached. Once an applicant has been selected, the home unit must complete C of C concurrence in Monitor Mass.
