  1. 5 CDSG Garrison St John's has a Class B Permanent for a WO/WO MOS ID/Occupation 90000-ATR to commence on 03-SEP-2024 until 02-SEP-2027.Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.
  2. Essential requirements are as fols:
    1. Rank: WO/WO
      IAW ref A, applicants who are one rank lower or one rank higher may apply, however will only be considered in those exceptional circumstances where no other qualified candidate is available. If one rank higher is the only suitable applicant, mbr may be required to relinquish their rank for the period of employment.
    2. MOS ID: 90000-ATR
      CSS with operations experience preferred.
    3. Language: English essential
    4. Security clearance: Secret
    5. Health: BE MED/DENT FIT
    6. Physical fitness: MUST BE PHYSICALLY FIT

      1. Excellent communication skills; 2. Ability to function under pressure of constant deadlines; 3. Previous experience drafting Exercise/Operations documents would be beneficial; 4. Experience working with external stakeholders (including OGD and civilian organizations); 5. Experience working in an L3 or L4 operations cell; and 6. Skilled using CFTPO and Monitor Mass.

  4. Basic description of duties:
    A. Supervision of Ops Svcs platoon;
    B. Manage support requests from dependencies and external organizations;
    C. Coordinate and deconflict the use of Garrison assets;
    D. Maintain effective communications with local unit ops;
    E. CFTPO manager for Garrison; and
    F. Be prepared to support Dom Ops as part of LSC or FS
