  1. RCEMES has a Class B Permanent for a Capt/Capt MOS ID/Occupation 00187-05-EME to commence on 14-OCT-2024 until 13-OCT-2027.Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.

      Maj willing to relinquish, and Lt qualified for promotion to Capt rank may apply, but will only be considered should no candidate at the Capt rank apply and be found suitable. Lt not eligible for promotion may be considered for under-ranking. WO and MWO in the process of commissioning may also be considered should no qualified officer apply.

  4. Basic description of duties: Ensure adherence of instruction to the training plan for all courses at RCEME School. Ensure RCEME School Trg is in line with approved QS and TP by planning and overseeing systematic checks. Develop the capacity of your subordinates to ensure they operate effectively. Deliver staff indoctrination training on the standards function. Organize unit input into the QS/TP development process. Drive the implementation of new courseware and training ensuring that new methods are incorporated into training systematically and permanently. Maintain effective communication with the Coys to ensure effective training delivery. Identify areas that require improvement and provide solutions to these areas. Actively seek to deliver improvements to training content and delivery through the development of training material and instructors. Be prepared to command Standards platoon in the absence of the Chief Instructor. Maintain a thorough knowledge of the Standards Process within CADTC, CTC and the RCEME School. Understand and use the CFITES series of manuals and CAO 24-08. Ensure that the School remains compliant with both. Uses MS SharePoint ACIMs site effectively to manage the Stds area of the School site. Be prepared to be the RCEME Officer Training Plan Manager. Be prepared to conduct review of CTM. Be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Requires physical fitness and must be capable of successfully completing FORCE test. Accomplish secondary duties as directed by Standards Officer, Deputy Commandant and Chief Instructor. Other duties as required

  9. Remarks: Cover letter, resume, current Guardian MPRR and SCPS screen verification of security clearance are to be attached with the nomination in Monitor Mass. Suitable applicants residing within the geographical area will be given preference. Applicant's medical category, physical fitness and security clearance must be current and at the required level for REO. If an applicant has MELs and is still employable within limitations, a copy of the AR/MEL must be fwd to CTC HQ G1 Reserve Admin Cell. Applicants must have the essential quals as outlined in REO. Applicants with a Secret clearance in progress as of the closing date of the REO may be considered, if no suitable applicant with the appropriate clearance applies. Once an applicant has been selected, the home unit must complete C of C concurrence in Monitor Mass.
