  3. Secondary requirements of position, as applic: a. Comprehensive knowledge, and currency, in DRMIS, Claims X, HRMS, and general office admin are all assets; b. Comprehensive knowledge of financial management (pay, allowances) is an asset; c. Following courses are an asset: Expenditure Management Course, Contracting Direct with Trade and Green Procurement; d. Working knowledge of Monitor Mass, reserve personnel admin, Central Registry and Releases are assets for the position;
  4. Basic description of duties: This position exists to provide financial and administrative support services to the 17 Wg RCAF Reserve Flight and its personnel through the function of the Unit orderly Room. The incumbent is responsible to monitor the Flt Budget and make adjustments with the approval of the Flt Comd, prepare cash forecasts, perform bill payment functions in DRMIS, and certify RPSR pay and allowances for Flt members. The incumbent will also perform FAA sec 34 on claims, and perform financial audit functions. a. Provision and supervision of Reserve pay and allowances; b. provision and supervision of DRMIS functions and training including but not limited to bill pay payment and system adjustments in DRMIS; c. budget monitoring and adjustments with the approval of the Flt Comd; d. provision and supervision of all aspects of claims finalization and auditing; e. Monitoring expenses and commitments within the Unit budget; f. M/C, DTA, and Corporate BMO card reconciliation; g. Maintenance of SOPs; h. Ensuring Cash Forecasts and other financial reports and returns are completed on time prior to submission to higher HQ's; i. monitoring and enforcing regulations wrt delegations of authority and e-course certification; and j. Work within a team environment.
