  1. 8 CH has a Class B Permanent for a Sgt/Sgt MOS ID/Occupation 90000-ATR to commence on 02-SEP-2024 until 01-SEP-2027.Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.
  2. Essential requirements are as fols:

      1. Possess a comprehensive knowledge of supply and technical service functions, warehousing and security of stores; 2. Strong interpersonal, leadership, management, planning and organizational skills; 3. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain excellent rapport and working relationships with all agencies; 4. Excellent written and oral communication skills; 5. Experience in supervising supply personnel and knowledge of daily supply operations as well as demonstrated experience in preparing and evaluating full and part time supply staff through performance reports; 6. Excellent computer skills, primarily using MS Office (Word, Excel); 7. Experience in preparing an after action report identifying usage, costing, losses and recommendations for improvements in material and service support to the unit; 8. Have completed or be able to complete the Expenditure Management (sections 32 and 34 of the FAA), the Contract Certification and the Green Procurement courses; 9. Have an understanding of the Defence Resource Management Information System (DRMIS); 10. Experience implementing security and appropriate accounting procedures for weapons and ammunition IAW pertinent regulations; 11. Possess a current DND 404 or be able to obtain one; 12. Experience conducting stocktaking verification as required, including the annual stocktaking upon the completion of the summer training period; 13. Be able to plan and coordinate warehouse requirements and the issue/withdrawal of stores and equipment; 14. Experience in providing training and clarification of guidelines and directives for military and civilian personnel regarding environmental concerns, WHMIS, energy conservation, correct shipping, storage and issuance of dangerous goods; and 15. Ability to demonstrate experience in liaising with training and admin staff and ability to plan and forecast supply and technical requirements as needed.

  3. Secondary requirements of position, as applic: ACC qualified an asset.
  4. Basic description of duties:
    A. Maintain and verify the inventory of all supply customer accounts (SCA) by: 1. Controlling the demand, receipt, issue and return of material and expendable stores and completing all necessary documentation; 2. Maintaining all necessary supply documents governing the inventory of all SCA; 3. Controlling the external loan of stores and equipment with CO authority and completing all necessary documentation; 4. Conducting quarterly verifications of serial number accounting and control (SNAC) material; and 5. Completing all necessary documents for change of entitlements for all SCA.
    B. Operate warehouse for the storage of items held under all SCA, specifically: 1. Properly warehouse items IAW published guidelines; 2. Maintain and update unit loan records and loan tables; and 3. Establish and maintain an access list identifying personnel authorized for normal and special access to QM.
    C. Ensure non-serviceable (NS) equipment is repaired or replaced by: 1. Preparing NS items for return and completing necessary documentation; 2. Completing all unit maintenance request work orders; 3. Arranging for delivery of NS items to appropriate repair facility; and 4. Weekly verification of the status for outstanding work orders.
    D. Maintain functional LCPA system to track expenditures of allocated funds, specifically: 1. Establish and maintain a running spreadsheet register of all funds expended under applicable general ledger codes; 2. Provide assistance with and reports on budget forecasts and expenditures and review for possible discrepancies; 3. Obtain quotes from suppliers to compare prices and quality of materials to ensure most economical use of public funds; 4. Make purchases as auth by CO and IAW acquisition card regulations to fulfill unit requirements; 5. Maintain a register of issues to individuals/sections of LCPA affected items for audit purposes; and 6. Perform DRMIS functions for all unit O and M, excluding pay and allowances and TD.
    E. Complete lost stores/damage reports (LSDR) IAW applicable instructions and maintain register;
    F. Conduct supply inspections as directed by CO;
    G. Complete PaCE process on subordinate personnel;
    H. Maintain access list for secure areas containing unit weapons and ammunition IAW established regulations; and I. Other duties as required.
