  1. 4 Cdn Div TC has a Class B Permanent for a Capt/Capt MOS ID/Occupation 00328-01-LOG to commence on 17-JUN-2024 until 16-JUN-2027.Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.

  3. Secondary requirements of position, as applic: Good knowledge of CF and Army Military Admin, Mgt policies, benefits and entitlements, good writing skills, good skills with computer software, experience with Contracts and Alternate Service Delivery programs
  4. Basic description of duties: a. Conduct duties of Site Service Management Team Officer. Review and edit the Statement of Work (SoW) for the site service contract. b. Manage and coordinate the conduct of Quality Assurance visits with respect to work completed by the Canadian Base Operators IAW contract regulations. c. Exercise financial DoA as required for approval of procurements and for approval of DND 626 Task Authorizations for the site service contract, when needed. d. Provide oversite on expenditures of the Procurement Section, coordinate as needed with the unit Comptroller for budget planning, reports, and returns. Provide Q4 reports. e. Provide direction and advice to the CO on Site Service contracting policies, directives, orders, and governance. f. Draft briefing notes, synopsis sheets, and letters for the Chain of Command. g. Provide direction and advice on CSS issues related to the Site Service Contract to the Chain of Command. h. BPT to cover the duties of any SSMT assessor for any chapters of the Statement of Work. i. Liaise with the 4 Cdn Div G4 Staff regarding site service contract compliance. j. Review and update Base Standing Orders (SO) that pertain to contracted services annually, or upon changes of policies, directives, and orders. k. BPT become familiar and proficient with IT reporting tools used by CA and 4 Cdn Div HQ. l. Other duties as assigned by the chain of command. m. Monitor and manage the contract to include the staffing and organisation of amendment requests.
