  1. 5 CDSB Det Aldershot has a Class B Permanent for a WO/WO MOS ID/Occupation 90000-ATR to commence on 16-AUG-2024 until 15-AUG-2027.Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.
  2. Essential requirements are as fols:
    1. Rank: WO/WO
      IAW ref A, applicants who are one rank lower or one rank higher may apply, however will only be considered in those exceptional circumstances where no other qualified candidate is available. If one rank higher is the only suitable applicant, mbr may be required to relinquish their rank for the period of employment.

  4. Basic description of duties:
    A. Supervise and manage military and civilian staff;
    B. Receive and prepare contracts for provision of service with outside agencies;
    C. Conduct weekly operation training coordination meetings for incoming units;
    D. Manage and control the CFRIS program;
    E. Manage, control and action all training assistance requests for 5 CDSB Det Aldershot;
    F. Be prepared to work evenings and weekends when required;
    G. Be a good forecaster;
    H. Be prepared to deal with daily camp operating issues and solve at lowest level; I. Perform the duties as OPS O in their absence; J. Plan/coordinate equipment and personnel for future courses; K. Conduct training meeting to coordinate all training requirements within camp Aldershot; L. Manage range control; M. Control, maintain, sign in and out all training aids within camp Aldershot; N. Manage and control equipment and personnel through the CFTPO; O. Plan, co-ord and execute IBTS for 5 CDSG Det Aldershot; P. Direct Liaison between Det and RP Ops Atlantic; Q. Manage all classrooms and training facilities; and R. Oversee Fitness Center and bookings.
