  1. 21 EW Regt has a Class B Permanent for a Capt/Capt MOS ID/Occupation 00328-05-LOG - LAND to commence on 09-AUG-2024 until 08-AUG-2027.Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force, Regular Force.

    1. Rank: Capt/Capt
      IAW ref A, applicants who are one rank lower or one rank higher may apply, however will only be considered in those exceptional circumstances where no other qualified candidate is available. If one rank higher is the only suitable applicant, mbr may be required to relinquish their rank for the period of employment.

    A. Possession of the following qualifications, experiences and skills will be used to determine an applicant's suitability: (1) Top Secret - Special Access security clearance; (2) National Army Reserve Unit Recruiter (RUR) course; (3) Fitness for Operational Requirements and CAF Employment (FORCE) Evaluator course; (4) Experience as a Canadian Forces Recruiting Center (CFRC) trained recruiter or Army Reserve recruiting experience such as previous employment in the Unit File Manager (UFM) or Reserve File Administrator (RFA); (5) Experience using Canadian Forces Recruiting Information Management System (CFRIMS); (6) Experience as Unit Public Affairs representative; (7) Experience in administration and management of military personnel; (8) Experience as staff within a unit headquarters; (9) Experience working in the EW/SIGINT environment; (10) An operational deployment; and (11) Valid DND 404s.
  4. Basic description of duties:
    A. Advise unit and sub-unit command teams on P Res personnel management;
    B. Review all P Res administrative documents prior to submission to the Commanding Officer;
    C. Track progress of all P Res administrative and disciplinary files internal and external to unit;
    D. Prepare and maintain Unit Standing Orders related to P Res administration and personnel management;
    E. Guide and mentor sub-unit 2ICs on P Res administration and personnel management;
    F. Unit OPI for 6 CCSB HQ G1 Res staff and external G1 Res staff, work with Regt Adjutant on submissions to 6 CCSB G1;
    G. Manage unit Class B employment opportunities, draft REO messages, plan and conduct Selection Boards, and prepare related correspondence;
    H. Oversee P Res evaluation under the PaCE system, prepare and chair P Res ranking boards and merit (selection) boards; I. Oversee unit P Res manning including managing establishment, monitoring intake/attrition, tracking career progression, advising on talent management and preparing reports supporting RAMOR/SIP activities; J. Oversee the Regiment's recruiting program and prepare A2R Annex to unit OPLAN and Campaign Plans; K. Supervise the Regiment Recruiting Officer; L. BPT act as the Regiment Adjutant during their absence; and M. BPT act as the Regiment Recruiting Officer during their absence, including the following tasks: (1) Supervise the recruiting section; (2) Manage all unit recruiting personnel; (3) Plan and supervisor OJT for UFM/RFA and DEC role employed pers within the recruiting section; (4) Plan and conduct attraction activities including online job banks, job fairs, school visits and other public displays; (5) Conduct recruit processing including the conduct of CFAT and managing medical and FORCE testing; (6) Conduct recruit interviews using the Army Reserve Standardized Interview Format (CASAR) and triage competitive files; and (7) Coordinate initial accounts, security clearance requests, kitting and enrolment of recruits.
