  4. Basic description of duties: You will be accountable to the Plan Coordinator for the IREP program. As the person in charge, you are responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of the PIR section under your control. You should stay on top of procedures and guidelines for equipment and vehicle inspections, service contract development, and safety. You will be responsible for health and safety in your workplace. Assess the capabilities of local contractors, their past performance in accordance with the contract request, certify that the assemblies repaired at these local contractors meet all contract standards and specifications, and produce the required documentation upon payment. Provide advice to technicians, analysts, quality control inspectors, team leaders on all related technical issues to its profession in order to ensure that quality standards are maintained. Actively participate in technical analyses, write reports, review work instructions, and produce and/or review technical inspection plans incorporating measurable elements, thus providing tangible evidence of compliance with the Technical specifications. As part of the continuous improvement within the assigned production processes, follow up on audit reports, requests corrective actions, minor non-conformances, and quality control plans to make recommendations to process managers for changes to the delivery of inspection programs or projects. As part of the continuous improvement of the quality system of the assigned processes, assisted the quality system section, issue requests for action, changes to the quality system and new inspection techniques to address identified problems with products, services and complaints. Evaluates the implementation, application and effectiveness of the unit's quality management system and prepares and monitors reports for management on the status of the system's compliance. Follow up on internal and external audit reports by submitting action plans and ensuring their implementation. Manage attribution, proper use and quality control stamp. Ensure contractors comply with quality standards and contract specifications. In the event of non-compliance, the incumbent must determine the cause, the degree of responsibility of the contractor in relation to the non-conformance, and then resume work under warranty or at the Company's expense, may refuse acceptance and payment for goods and services until the Contractor has made the necessary modifications to fully comply with the standards and specifications. If the contractor fails to meet the quality standards and specifications, 202 DA may terminate the contract and recover damages from the Crown, or accept the equipment or services at a discount or other consideration. The RCQ must exercise honest and sound judgment and assume its responsibilities on behalf of the department. An error in judgment on their part can lead to conflicts, including legal action. Corrective action requests, minor non-conformances, and quality control plans to make recommendations to process managers to modify the delivery of inspection programs or projects. Follow the instructions and regulations given by the military CO chain.
