  1. RCAF BMQ Det has a Class B Temporary for a Sgt/Sgt MOS ID/Occupation 90000-ATR to commence on 04-NOV-2024 until 26-MAR-2027.Only personnel from the following Component/Sub-Component may apply for this position: Regular Force, Primary Reserve Force, Supplementary Reserve Force.

  4. Basic description of duties: The RCAF Academy Det Aldershot BMQ/PLQ Ops Coord is responsible for the safety, good discipline, morale and welfare of the Ops staff, Commissionaires, and FED team members. The Ops Sgt provides advice and makes appropriate recommendations to the RCAF Academy Det Aldershot CoC on courses of action on all issues concerning the Operations and Training Support for BMQ/PLQ courses. The Ops Coord is responsible to the RCAF Academy Det Aldershot BMQ/PLQ WO for: a. providing operational and training support; b. ensuring BMQ/PLQ training is supported IAW current QS/TP and RCAF Academy directives; c. providing feedback to RCAF Academy staff on operations and training support details; d. managing, under the BMQ/PLQ WO's supervision, all disciplinary issues concerning the behavior and comportment of FED team members and Commissionaires as required; e. managing weapons vault security and access for the RCAF Academy; f. managing the ordering, consumption, and annual allocation of RCAF Academy ammunition in support of BMQ/PLQ and IST trg; and g. advising the BMQ/PLQ WO regarding issues that could affect training. The Ops Coord is accountable to the RCAF Academy Det Aldershot BMQ/PLQ WO for: a. general safety; b. matters concerning Commissionaires and FED team members dress and discipline; c. engaging in Professional Development (PD); d. matters relating to the organization and assisting with training support of field exercise and graduation parades; e. liaison with Chief Instructor, Instructors, Camp Ops, and Support Staff throughout the course as required; f. taking part in ECCs at the end of courses; g. preparation, review, and delivery of different briefs; h. being ready to fill in for the Flt Officer to represent Ops as required; i. obtaining feedback from Trg Staff at end of course to address any deficiencies; j. demonstrating and upholding the expected standard of a CAF member; k. maintaining physical fitness standard with a healthy lifestyle; l. having an action plan that encompasses your needs while meeting the needs of the RCAF Academy; m. promoting and fostering an innovative environment; n. promoting stewardship of CAF ethos and bolstering a culture that reflects respect and dignity for all; and; and o. performing additional duties as required by the Co
