  4. Basic description of duties: Position Description. The incumbent of the BTL Mgr position manages personnel on the Basic Training List (BTL) - RCAF officers and NCMs in the training system who have completed BMQ / BMOQ up until they reach OFP (Occupation Functional Point). Accountabilities (Vertical): a. Administrative tracking of the progression of PAT, PAD, and production for Strategic Intake Plan; b. Preparing, drafting course loading, posting messages and updates training/members files; c. Coordinating placement and employment of students on personnel awaiting training, OJT, ROTP, and Phase core occupational trg; d. Coordinating trg statically data with respect to production and capacity forecasts for ATT and AOT, D Air Strat and AMORs; e. Coordinate with Training Establishment staff to Facilitate BTL placement of RCAF officers; f. Maintain knowledge on financial management, reviewing and recommending action concerning the budget for AOT and ATT training; g. Develop and maintain SOPs on drafting various TD and Posting messages template with current fin code; h. Liaison with CFRG, RMC, DGMC and applicable Air staff on all management issues; i. Provision of monthly/quarterly statistical information; j. Update and maintain posting and course loading templates; k. manage the Air Force Summer Employment program for all ROTP Air element personnel; Accountabilities (Horizontal): a. Collaborate: (1) Effectively advise/guide AF Trg and AF Trg Establishments with respect to CAF and Cdn Air Div policies, regulations and orders; (2) Promote cohesion within the BTL Mgt cell by maintaining a positive outlook of embracing continuing changes in CAF, RCAF and AF Trg processes. b. Review students MPRR through HRMS for accuracy of data for TD and Posting messages; c. Maintain knowledge of DRMIS for quarterly financial submission.
