  3. Secondary requirements of position, as applic: File will be assessed from the review of mbrs Pers File combined with character / reference check
  4. Basic description of duties: Perform MCC duties to include: Supervise all air sovereignty operations and weapons employment within the CADS AOR; Perform duties IAW Aerospace Control Manual of Operations (ACMO) and the MCC positional checklist; Complete mission readiness program (CMRX) for MCC; Authorize alert aircraft to fly training sorties; Coordinate with adjacent Air Defence Sectors and other elements of the Command and Control system; Monitor the readiness states of assigned fighter resources and recommend changes to the CAOC as conditions dictate; Ensure proper monitoring and reporting of tracks of interest, VIP flights and other sensitive objectives. If eligible and operationally required to upgrade to DDO, perform DDO duties in ops room or from the command post as required to include: Direct tactical control of assets assigned to CADS; Perform as interface between the tactical and operational levels of C2; Participate in CFACC conference calls to update Canadian agencies on air defence or air security events; Coordinate with adjacent Air Defence Sectors as required; Apprise CADS DO and/or CADS Comd on significant events; Supervise Assistant Directors of Operations (ADO); Operate the Battle Control System-Fixed (BCS-F) display; and Provide guidance and direction to MC
    C. Perform informal instructional duties as required by the mission readiness program (CMRX).
