  3. Secondary requirements of position, as applic:
    A. Familiarity with UL Tools and other Ops-related software, MS Excel, and MS Powerpoint; and
    B. Candidates assigned Air Factor 2 or 1(Pilots, ACSO, FE, and AES Op, medically fit for unrestricted duties in air operations) will take precedence.
  4. Basic description of duties: The 415 (Long Range Patrol Force Development) Sqn Ops FD NCM will be responsible to the OFC for planning, arranging, and managing unit operations and enabling FD projects. Specific duties will include:
    A. scheduling and de-conflicting unit flying operations, simulator/training device evolutions, project activities and crews by preparing daily, weekly and monthly flying programs using UL Tools and other Ops-related software;
    B. coordinating and arranging flight requirements, such as aircraft configuration (fuel load, armament load), timings and meals in a timely fashion;
    C. representing 415 Sqn at WOps planning meetings and providing the Sqn's flying schedule;
    D. planning Sqn away trips and deployments, such as requesting airlift, preparing crew manifests, preparing financial estimates and trip paperwork (for rental vehicles, accommodations, TD), drafting visit requests, and drafting exercise directives;
    E. preparing correspondence, reports and briefings as tasked by OFC; liaising with 415 Sqn Flt Comds, other units' operations staff, and Wing Operations to assign resources to unit activities;
    F. identifying, communicating, and resolving resource shortfalls and urgent requirements;
    G. scheduling mandatory aircrew training requirements for CP140M, such as but not limited to dry ditch, and pin-pulls;
    H. maintain aircrew qualification, if applicable; I. supporting LRP FD projects when directed by OFC; J. developing subordinates and junior unit members; and K. holding secondary duties and performing other duties as assigned by the OFC.
