  3. Secondary requirements of position, as applic: Desirable to have experience, qualifications and familiarization with: a) (AJPT) CC 130 H Flt Engr; b) (AFGI) CC 130 H AAR Flt Engr; c) (AEVT) Air Operations Survival-Sea; d) Air Operations Survival-Land
  4. Basic description of duties: This is a supervisory position in which the incumbent is responsible for: a. Evaluate and develop subordinates; b. Maintain the AAR OTF and SAR mandates; c. Ensure a high quality of continuation training is provided; d. Foster a training environment conducive to learning; e. Duties as Canadian Air Force (CAF) aircrew; f. Maintain operational currency and proficiency to a very high standard i.a.w. Flight Operation Manual; g. Maintain force test standards; h. Monitor the FE SAR OJTP & FE AAR OTF ground school/flying phase; i. Liaise with SAMEO organization with respect to OJTP; j. Liaise with Chief Training Flight Engineer on all aspects of administration, organization and supervision of Training FE; k. Liaise with FE Schedulers as required for U/T FE in regards to course and training scheduling; l. Co-ordinate and monitor FE continuation training; m. Prepare and maintain course reports, trip reports, PER's and PDR`s as required; n. Perform other related duties as assigned by the FE Ldr; o. Perform Operations NCM duties as directed by Operations Officer; p. Perform supervised events i.a.w. Flight Operation Manual and complete appropriate form; q. Supervise/co-ordinate periodic technical refresher lectures. r. Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Air Leader or the Flt Engr Leader
